WHO WOULD BE THE AUDIENCE FOR YOUR MEDIA PRODUCT?
I interviewed 5 people asking them the following questions:
- Do you like thrillers?
- What types of thrillers do you like?
- What age do you think thrillers are aimed at?
- What do you think of psychological thrillers?
- What makes a good psychological thriller?
As I asked students aged 16-18, it allowed me to gain their opinions on thrillers. This was helpful as my thriller's target audience was 16-35 year olds. Psychological thrillers usually have an audience of 16+ which is what influenced our storyline, mise en scene etc.
Our thriller was filmed and edited to suit an audience of 16-35 year olds.
