As part of our research we looked into film openings and selected the
film "Juno" to analyse words and remake. Doing this would help us
gain an insight into how to create an opening of the film.
offered we then had to watch the opening and create a storyboard of it
consisting with sketches of all the different shots used in the order of the
opening. Whilst creating this storyboard we had to also explain what is
happening in the shot below the diagram we sketched of the shot. When
explaining the shot we included what is going on and what shot it actually is
whether its a "close up" or "tracking shot".
Actors, Locations and Props
The main character in the opening - Juno - was portrayed by Eugenie (a born star!). We will also need
back up characters which are involved but don't really do as much they are only
going to be in the background. Whilst remaking this opening of the film, we are
going to need a location similar to the location used in the real opening of
the film therefore we will be travelling to the park in order to create this
opening again because that is where Juno the film was set and trees and leaves
are used. We will also need props to make it look as realistic as possible
therefore similar clothing will be worn by are main character including a red
hoody, black top and jeans. Other props used will be a carton of milk which is
carried by Juno throughout the whole opening, Milk is the main prop used
throughout the opening.
To get us started, we created a storyboard of the opening to help us know what to do. Below are the pictures of are storyboard which will be used to help us create
